The Tilba Dairy cheese shop offers more than just cheese. The store is stocked with a variety of local goodies, including fresh yoghurt, cream, and bottled milk, as well as condiments, honey, and unique kitchen giftware. You can also enjoy milkshakes, ice creams, and coffee.

Enjoy sampling a range of award-winning cheeses made from fresh Jersey milk, sourced directly from our beautiful herd of Jersey cows.

Our cheeses are hand-crafted with care and precision, showcasing the rich, creamy textures and complex flavours that set our products apart.

Tilba Dairy Factory

Our factory is located in Central Tilba’s historic ABC Cheese Factory. Established in 1891 it was the first cheese co-operative in NSW.

The factory has been completely re-fitted with leading edge technology designed to optimise quality, production and delivery of our dairy products.

We produce bottled milk, yoghurt, cream, fresh handmade cheeses and blended cheddars.

The Factory is in operation Mon-Fri 7:30am-3pm.

As a child visiting Grandparents in Narooma (1960s and 70s) one thing we always did was go to Tilba and buy a wheel or 1/4 of a wheel of ABC cheese to take with us back to Sydney. One of many good memories of holidaying in Narooma.

Opening Hours

March – November opening hours are 9am – 4pm, 7 days a week.
December – February opening hours are 9am – 5pm, 7 days a week.

Closed Good Friday, Christmas Day and Boxing Day.
